Why you will love Ostuni, the White Town

Sitting on top of a hill and being surrounded by the endless olive tree fields, Ostuni is one of my favorite places in Apulia, in South Italy.
It is also known as The White Town for its white walls and its typically white-painted architecture.

If you are the one who likes to enjoy endless walks through  welcoming alleys, you will totally adore this lovely white maze, with its well cared corners full of flowers, amazing views to the Adriatic Sea, which is less than 10km far, and the cute small houses with local people living.

Very popular are also fruits and vegetables vendors, selling their fresh products from their Ape Piaggio, as well as many artisans’ shops.

Local food is also something to totally dive in, after the stroll let yourself relax with an aperitif in one of the many bars facing the expanse of olive trees till the Sea, and taste a delicious dinner in one of the many “Trattoria”.

You still have to enjoy what in my opinion is one of the most beautiful and ethereal moment this town can offer.
Set the alarm clock very early, because Sunrise in Ostuni is something to really experience. The town, vibrant and crowded during the daytime, becomes a quiet and peaceful place. Try to do the same route you have walked the day before, you will enjoy a totally new experience.

This is the moment I love to shoot my couple sessions, and you can easily see why.
