Tropea Wedding Photographer // Sergio Sorrentino Fotografie.
Today on the blog the wedding tale of Clara and Andrea, couple who gave immediately the feeling that their wedding would be special. Getting ready was done between Vibo Valentia and Zambrone, with a beautiful view on the “Costa degli Dei” (Gods’ Coast). I will never get tired of the beauty of the Thyrrenian Coast of Calabria. Clara is a wonderful person and her beauty deserves to be framed in a so bright and sunny place.
Tropea is the place were the ceremony was set, in a warm mid-summer day. After the happy ceremony we had our time for portrait pictures trying to get lost in the beauty of Tropea streets looking for the perfect light. The reception was held in Tenuta Klopè, impressing location near Pizzo Calabro. The party had and overwhelming athmosphere, thanks to the music by Max Gazzaruso and his band.
I’m so thankful to all my couples who never give me limits to express myself and for let me feel like home.
A lot of the external and natural light pictures are took on Fujifilm 400H film and my inseparable Mamiya 645 Pro. Film was processed by my partners Carmencita Film Lab.

A special thank to this very special couple coming from Texas USA, who chose me as their wedding photographer Calabria. You will love every detail from this wedding day, especially the simple and delicate color palette of the bouquet and the sunset beginning during the ceremony.
Calabria lighting is so magical.
This wedding day is all set in the San Michele venue in Cetraro, where you could find absolutely lovely to have the wedding ceremony near the vineyard looking out the sea.
A very fine touch was also the music by Beatrice Limonti Violinist during the ceremony and by Chicky Mo Swing Band during the reception party.
Quite all the pictures are shot on Fuji 400H and Ilford black and white films processed by Carmencita Film Lab.

It’s so important being confident and trusted with the couple who give you the privilege to shoot the most important pictures of their life. With Katia and Carlo I had this and even more: a genuine harmony that allowed me to easily get into the emotions of their wedding and to observe how they are surrounded by wonderful people who have made even more special the wedding day.
The country feel of Popilia Country Resort in Calabria together with a sunny day, are the ideal setting for this tale of love.

In late September, when fall begins, I had the opportunity to shoot some pictures of honeymoon photography in Rome for this lovely couple coming from the Caribbean. They were enjoying an honeymoon trip around the Europe and I was really blessed to take pictures for them during their staying in Rome.
It was such a pleasure to know Amber and Jon in a slight breezing early morning in Piazza di Spagna. I was a bit upset for the overcast weather predicted by the forecast, but we found a bright and enjoyable sunny morning which saw us the entire session. You can’t imagine how was enjoyable walking in a very few crowded city centre, from Piazza di Spagna to Piazza del Popolo, going also through Via Margutta, the artists’ street where Fellini lived. That’s not all: Amber is a great wedding photographer, so I was even more pleased to discover that they really enjoyed their time with me and their pictures.
